ABOUT US:

SJ Innovation was started in 2003 as a small, family business by Shahed Islam and since has grown to include offices in Russia and India. The main US office is located in New York. What makes SJ Innovation unique from its outsourcing competitors is the project management team. Unlike outsourcing companies with the main office located in India, SJ Innovation’s main office is located here in the US. The project management team works out of the US office, offering you an overall better experience. No more getting up in the middle of the night to contact your project manager from the other side of the globe and no more issues of the language barrier which can sometimes be present.

SJ Innovation currently has over 25 employees worldwide and is expected to grow. All of our employees are experts in their field and offer you over 100 years combined experience.

A little about our project managers…

Shahed Islam graduated from St. Johns University in 2000 with a degree in Computer Science. He worked for 2 years as a developer for Empire Blue Cross before launching SJ Innovation. He has experience working on projects pertaining to the healthcare industry, ecommerce solutions, and is also knowledgeable in server administration.

Shahed successfully created Bdbazar, LLC which runs a few ecommerce sites and Medtek USA, LLC which provides medical solutions to physicians. He is currently a member of the SJ Innovation project management team in New York.

Shahera Choudhury graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Computing and Information Systems and began her career at Astrazeneca UK as a developer. She was promoted to team leader during her stay with Astrazeneca.

In 2004, she joined SJ Innovation and is currently a project manager in the New York office. She has worked on a variety of important projects including XtendMD.com, a patient-physician interactive Web site and Neighborhoodies.com, an online presence for the famous Brooklyn custom apparel shop.
